A lifelong Albany resident, most people in the Capital Region know John's name, face, or family. John spent a few amazing years as a morning radio show producer, for Don Weeks on 810 WGY before being lured away by the 106.5 WPYX morning show “Waking Up With The Wolf”. Wolf’s ratings increased dramatically after John joined the show and WNEW in New York City noticed and offered John a position as producer of the hit show “Opie and Anthony”. John declined the position, ultimately deciding not to relocate his wife Melissa and son Zachary to New York City. He did, however, decide he was ready for a career change. He became a licensed real estate agent in 1999 and worked part-time in real estate for a few years as he held a full-time position as the City of Albany Volunteer Coordinator. In 2003, John decided to leave his City of Albany position and pursue a more fulfilling and challenging full-time career as a real estate agent. He was the office sales and listing leader numerous times while selling property for Prudential Manor Homes. John also boasts a long list of other achievements including the Prudential Leading Edge Award, Awards from the Women’s Council of Realtors, little league coach and accomplished musician.

In 2005, John founded the local chapter of a national real estate association called The Albany NY Real Estate Investment Association. This is a group of investors from coast-to-coast that meet quarterly to discuss the condition of the Tri-County investment markets and to evaluate properties for purchase by means of condition and cash flow. John is also the President of DiBlasi Real Estate And Management Services LLC, an Albany based real estate company and property management provider. John brings extensive knowledge of Albany, Rensselaer and Schenectady Counties to his position. He has assisted many families, friends and investors in the sale of their homes and the purchase of new homes.
